Hi everyone!
I can't believe that it has been over a year since I've posted on this blog! I could spout off reasons to explain my absence, but none off them would be entirely sincere. To be honest, I just got lazy and lost interest in blogging. I apologize for that.
The good news, however, is that I'm back and (hopefully) better than ever. I plan on keeping the blog with a focus on fashion, but I want to start doing beauty post and makeup reviews as well. I hope that is something which interests you!
I'm so excited to start blogging again and I truly hope you guys will tune in to see what I come up with. I aspire to create a blog that all of you will thoroughly enjoy. I can't do this without you guys!
xo,
Sarah

Wishing for Wednesday: Dr. Martin's
Welcome to this week's Wishing for Wednesday: Dr. Martin's edition! Now, I know what some of you are thinking. Why?? But for some reason that I can't possibly begin to explain, I am completely in love with Dr. Martins. They just seem so comfortable and well made. While I currently don't own a pair, they could very well end up on my birthday list.
I love the leather of these boots. As a plus, they are super versatile. |
The antique inspired style is genius. |
Oxfords are one of my favorite types of shoes, and the color of this pair is perfect. |
This pair is my favorite! I don't usually go for shoes this bold, but these boots are just too perfect! |

Style Spotlight: Sonia Rykiel
Fun and fresh. This is the alliteration I will use to describe Sonia Rykiel's designs. Her work is always amazing, and the Spring 2012 collection is not an exception. I could go on and on about all the reasons I love Sonia Rykiel, but the main reason is that she is such an incredible woman. Knowing her story gives her designs a whole knew meaning. Do some searcher about her; I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
My picks from the Spring 2012 collection:

Look of the Day: Feeling Blue
Blue is my favorite color. This is not a secret by any stretch of the imagination, but at times it can be a bit of a problem. For example last night I was trying to figure out what to wear out to dinner and was having difficulty putting together an outfit. This was because at least 85% of my wardrobe is blue or some variation of navy. While I managed to pull together this monochromatic look which I like, I think I am going to make conscious effort to avoid purchasing blue items. At least, for a while. Do you think this is a good idea?
P.S. The sun is casting a weird yellowish glow on most of the pictures. Sorry! Also, I have no idea why the picture of my shoes is sideways.

Wishing for Wednesday: Hunter Wellies
Happy Leap Day, everyone!
This week's edition of Wishing for Wednesday is all about Hunter Wellies. Why do I want a pair? Honestly, I have no idea, seeing as I've never worn a pair of rain boots in my life. Despite this, I have a sneaking suspicion that they would go with everything in my closet. I love the variety of fun colors that Hunter Wellies provides, and the quality is fantastic. I need to go out and buy a pair!
I love the classic look of these. |
This is the pair that I want the most. The basic black ensures that they would go with a myriad of outfits, but the texture keeps them from becoming boring. |
Neons! |
