Wishing for Wednesday: Marc by Marc Jacobs

There are few things I appreciate more than a well-made handbag. Its for this reason that when I find one I like, I tend to use it until it literally falls apart at the seams. Even at that it would have to be severely damaged for me to buy a new bag.
Marc by Marc Jacobs creates my favorite line of handbags ever. I love the fun colors and interesting details, but its the quality and structure of these bags that attracts me the most. Even though I would love one of these incredible handbags, sadly they are incredibly more expensive than my budget will ever allow.

What are you wishing for this Wednesday?

Style Spotlight: Christopher Kane

There certainly is a lot to love about Christopher Kane. While he's know for being edgy yet feminine, its his use of clean lines that I enjoy most about his work. His spring 2012 collection is full of vibrant colors and interesting fabrics, which I personally love. Christopher Kane's collections continuously prove that he is able to generate new and unique designs. Even though some of the pieces he creates are a little edgier than I could pull off, I still wish I could own every item that he sends down the runway.

Look of the Day: Soft and Sweet

Hi, Everyone! I bought this cashmere sweater over the summer, while I was in Europe. It was a little extravagant for my budget, but the phrase "when in Rome"  (or Paris, as was the case) has always stuck with me. I went ahead and bought it anyway. I love this cardigan to death. Not only is it super soft, but I love the cut of it as well. This is a really versatile piece, that is easy to dress either up or down.
P.S. I just realized I've worn this necklace in every post so far. Sorry!
Cardigan: Les Petites

Look of the Day: Cozy Up

Its been a pretty dreary day around here, due to the cold and constant drizzling.  Today is the kind of day that calls for warm layers and a cup of hot chocolate. Luckily, I had both.
I've had the sweater I'm wearing for a while, but I don't get to wear it as much as I like, which is a shame because I love it. What's genius about it is that each button is different, which is something you can't really see in the picture. (Sorry!) Since this look seemed a little dark, I added a pair of glittery socks.
Sweater: BKE
Velvet Skirt: Hollister
 Tank: Dots
Tights: Hue
Socks: Route 66 for Kmart
Boots: Emu
Necklace: Pacsun

Wishing for Wednesday: Frye Boots

"Wishing for Wendnesday" will be a weekly post indicating items that I wish I owned. This week's edition is all about Frye boots!
I love Frye for numerous reasons, the quality, colors, materials, and style just to name a few. A pair of Frye boots has been on my wish list forever, but with most pairs costing close to 400 dollars, I have yet to own any.
This has to be my favorite boot of all time! The mahogany color and lace up style make it  an instant classic.

I love these oxfords! The color is beautiful, and something about this update of my favorite style of shoe makes them super cool and edgy.
I love the roughed up texture of these boots. They are so easy I could wear them everyday!

One of my all-time favorite designers is Nanette Lepore. Her styles are always fresh and fun with a decidedly youthful undertone. I can picture myself wearing anything she creates!
